David becomes Chair of the APBC
I’m very pleased to be able to say that at our recent AGM I was voted Chair of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC).
Founded in 1989, the APBC is the leading organisation for properly qualified and experienced behaviour counsellors maintaining a professional, ethical and welfare-orientated approach to the treatment of companion animal behaviour problems. The APBC provides a network of specialist counsellors, to whom veterinarians can confidently refer clients throughout the UK and internationally.
This is an exciting time in terms of the progress being made in animal welfare generally, but specifically in pet behaviour counselling, and I look forward to working with all our members to promote the highest standards of professional knowledge and expertise.
